Day 1: Kampala to Gulu

Have breakfast and begin your journey to Gulu town in Northern Uganda; this is an interesting drive on a smooth road and there are a number of optional activities en-route notable among them being a visit to Zziwa Rhino sanctuary. Have lunch en-route and proceed to Gulu arriving in the afternoon, check-in your lodge to rest.

Day 2: Gulu to Kidepo Valley National Park – Game drive in Narus

Breakfast will be served early and embark on your journey to Kidepo Valley National Park. This is a 3 to 4 hours drive with eye-catching sites along the way including the Mantattas (small grass thatched houses) and the scenic views of the hills which separate the lands of Acholi and Karamoja.

You will also cross some seasonal rivers and arrive Kidepo Valley National Park well in time for Lunch and an evening game drive in the Narus valley. Narus valley is known to posses the largest buffalo herds than anywhere else in the entire world. There are also high chances of spotting big cats on a hunt and on a lucky day; you may spot the rare cheetahs too which are endemic to Kidepo in the whole of Uganda. Head back to the lodge for lunch and embark on an evening game drive in the Narus valley again.

Day 3: Game drive and Hot springs visit in Kidepo Valley

After our breakfast, we start our morning game drive, return for lunch and set for the afternoon and evening game drive

Enjoy breakfast and briefly visit the Narus valley for another game drive. The park has great observation points with binoculars and you will be happy to use them and you can never have enough of a game drive in this park! Return to the lodge for lunch and unwind a bit before embarking on a drive to Kidepo valley close to south Sudan boarder to visit the hot springs where you will encounter different bird species especially Ostriches within the region although their numbers are highly threatened by poaching by south Sudanese. Return to the lodge in the evening as you await for dinner to be served and spend another night at Apoka Safari lodge/Kidepo Savannah lodge as above.

Day 4: Transfer to Sipi falls.

Very early after breakfast, depart Kidepo via Moroto and visit Sipi falls in Kapchorwa. This is a full day drive with lunch en route. Arrive Sipi late afternoon and connect to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: All day the Sipi falls

After your early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the Sipi falls offices where you will get a guide for the Sipi falls hike. Sipi falls has 3 falls at Mount Elgon foothills that stretch to 85m, 75m and 100m accordingly. Depending on your fitness, you will visit all the 3 falls or choose to visit 2 falls. In the evening drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Sipi River lodge/Lacam lodge/Noah’s Ark as above – full board

Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe & Departure

Have breakfast and transfer back to Kampala with lunch en-route in Jinja town, have a brief visit at the source of the Nile, depending on your flight schedule, proceed to Kampala/Entebbe airport for your onward flight. End of tour
